Stumble Upon

I know I'm behind the times, but today I discovered StumbleUpon. I love this site. So far, I've liked everything that has been presented to me. One thing that I really enjoyed was reading about what tree I fell from. I also looked up which tree Caleb fell from. I'll share and comment on his. I will have him share and comment on mine later.

ROWAN TREE (the Sensitivity) - full of charm, cheerful, gifted without egoism, likes to draw attention, loves life, motion, unrest, and even complications, is both dependent and independent, good taste, artistic, passionate, emotional, good company, does not forgive.

This is 100% Caleb. He is ALL man, but he's very sensitive. Sometimes, I get confused and angry because I don't think about this part of him, but it makes him a very special person. He is very charming, but he has no problem saying this himself, which is why I question the ego portion of his description. Caleb is a cheerful person; he's always smiling and laughing about things, even when I think they are things that should be taken seriously. Of course, he loves to draw attention, but hey, he's a public figure, and being a Leo, I can't point fingers.

Caleb definitely loves life. He says if you can't laugh at life, you haven't lived. MOTION is a big one. He's always moving around. Sometimes, I get irritated, because when he's talking on the phone, he walks all through the house, in and out of rooms, turning, and pacing. Ugh! Sit down! I will say that Caleb has good taste, when it comes to dressing me. He can pick out the best things that I would never find for myself. He used to dress me for the bedroom, but I had to filter that. ;) Extremely artistic and emotional is Caleb exactly. DOES NOT FORGIVE...this may be sticky...Caleb, although he is a very loving person, he NEVER forgets things. When something goes awry, he is very likely to bring up some negative happenings from the past. I can say, his tree is very telling of his true personality.

I can't wait to read what he has to reveal about my tree...and I'm afraid.

Handling Buisness

I never knew how much work goes into building a business around talent. I'd always been led to believe that if I had talent and God favored me, someone would come along, discover me, and handle it all for me. It wasn't until I became an adult that I started to realize that if I wanted to be a full time musISHan I would have to step up and work extremely hard. I still work and attend school. It is a blessing that I only have two more weeks before graduation, but I still have work. I'm grateful that some of my time will be freed up and I will be able to devote more attention to my craft.

Caleb and I have been working hard to get our faces out there, and to build the ISH brand. We've barely been sleeping, and have had little time to relax. But we believe that it will pay off. God has blessed us to be talented and to find each other. Now, we compliment each other daily with our voices, styles, ideas, etc. I'm so blessed to have that man in my life.

ISH has been blessed to open up for Faith Evans at Alhambra Palace in Chicago next week. Of course, we're excited about it, and ready to show Chicago who ISH is. Things have been going well for us, since we've been working together as husband and wife. Now, we are all about our business, and we are setting ourselves up so that we will be able to work as musISHans full time. It is also up to our fans and supporters to help us get there. We're depending on you...whoever you are.
